Announcing the Ride Fit™ Training Guide - bringing added value to a rapidly growing customer base

San Diego, CA, USA, January 11th, 2012

Making exercise enjoyable, entertaining and goal orientated is essential to keep people coming back for more. Ride Fit (www.ride-fit.com), an exciting new series of virtual indoor cycle training videos, provides just such an environment for one of the best types of cardio workout available – indoor cycling. To provide the most realistic virtual cycling experience possible, Ride Fit videos are shot from the first person perspective using bike-mounted video cameras. Users will experience, as closely as can be achieved in an indoor environment, actually being there on the road. All Ride Fit videos are shot in stunning widescreen high-definition.

Since launching the Ride Fit series in November 2011, sales have been made to customers in eleven different countries spanning every continent except for Antarctica. Feedback from these customers has resulted in the development of the Ride Fit Training Guide, which can now be downloaded along with purchased training videos. This training guide brings together valuable information on such topics as video playback options, the setup of the customer’s indoor cycle bike or trainer, how to get multiple training experiences from the same Ride Fit training video, and the use of heart rate monitors and heart rate training zones.

According to Gary Hawkins, Founder of Ride Fit, “We are utterly thrilled to have achieved such a global reach in such a short space of time. We believe that talking to our rapidly growing customer base is absolutely essential to understanding their indoor cycle training needs and desires. One of the first things this has highlighted is the requirement for consolidated training information, and this in turn has resulted in the development of the Ride Fit Training Guide.”

Further, Gary added, “We see the Ride Fit Training Guide as a work in progress. Over time we intend to expand the scope of this document to include additional information such as narratives for each individual ride, information on cross-training techniques, tips from the coaches we work with, workout schedules and nutrition plans. We want our customers to have this valuable information at their fingertips as and when they need it.”
